The institute is committed to evidence-based policy research. However it recognises the need for focussed advocacy to aid and promote policy making as well as to facilitate dialogue on many key economic and social issues. This it does not only by its publications, but also by promoting fora which would provide a platform for dialoague and interaction. Periodically the Institute, either alone or in partnership with other stakeholders, organises regional and national conferences, workshops and seminars on a wide variety of pertinent topics with the aim of providing a basis for discussion on these issues as well as to educate the wider public.
