Publications

There are a number of publications that come as fruit of the research and advocacy work of BECANS. Listed below are the key BECANS publications.

BECANS WORKING PAPER SERIES

The BECANS Working Paper Series publishes the technical outputs from research, survey and analysis of the business environment and competitiveness across Nigerian states. The Series disseminates results and findings of the BECANS project. It is intended to stimulate evidence-based dialogue between government and the private sector for improved investment climate across Nigeria . The Papers provide up-to-date literature, statistics and empirical analysis to situate and enlighten business environment reforms by the three tiers of government in Nigeria.

BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT REPORTS

Business Environment Reports (BERs) disseminate the results and findings of research and analyses of the conditions for private enterprise and doing business across Nigerian states. The report series is aimed at providing the scientific evidence base for constructive dialogue between state governments, private sector and civil society. It intends to stimulate policy advocacy and greater attention to the critical role of state governments in promoting competitive private enterprise. The series will be updated on a regular basis to reflect new developments and changing performance of the business environment across Nigerian states.
