AIAE: Associate Fellows

The Institute networks Associate Fellows is a novel scientific networking arrangement that provides rich opportunities for intellectual self-enhancement, academic interaction and mutual learning. As such, thematic groups constitute the research hub of the Institute. The Institute provides needed peer networking facilities, training and capacity building, quality assurance, administrative coordination and scientific supervision. By means of the Institute’s research network, Associate Fellows have a credible platform for international networking with scientific institutions, research organizations and academic and professional societies.

Much of the substantive work of the Institute is carried out through a network of individual fellows (within and outside of Nigeria) affiliated to the Institute as Associate Fellows. Currently, there are almost 200 Associate fellows each with at least a Masters degree in Economics or related discipline (over 40 of these have PhDs; 20, are full Professors; 25 have professional backgrounds ranging from membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Chartered Institute of Accountants, etc while the rest are M.Sc holders)
